Oh for the love of clay, I could play all day
variety of stoneware and terracotta clays
200 x 8 x 6cm
Oh for the love of clay, I could play all day… is a work celebrating my love of clay in its raw, natural, naked state. I’ve used 8 different clay bodies, some only bisque fired, others stoneware fired and some taken to temperatures that one would usually not; but each has its own sense of beauty and presence yet together allow the form of the broken eggshell to be the hero.
