Artist Eddy Carroll has created hand-stitched bead and feather soft sculptures based on the Inuit Skeleton Woman myth relating to the rituals of loss, fear and compassion
Carroll’s practice involves re-using hand-me-down jewellery, haberdashery, found objects, native feathers and thread. She take inspiration from traditional embroidery techniques found in hill tribes and villages around the world, as well as ethnic jewellery and costume.
