Numbers is zine collaboration between two anonymous Sydney artists/writers, made on a regular basis since late 2016. Each issue is a double-sided, photocopied A4 page, with each side containing writing about household objects, memories, ideas, art and anything - or everything - else. Numbers is designed so that each issue can be 'read', literally, as a piece of writing, but may also function as a modular artwork that can be viewed in many configurations, e.g. as a large grid on a wall, a book etc. To mark the 20th issue, in conjunction with the Craft Cubed festival, a special handmade issue of Numbers, utilising letterpress printing, screen printing, painting, collage, typewriter and photocopier art, will be made. The editions of this issue will be installed in the window of the Sticky Institute for the duration of August. At the conclusion of the Cubed Craft festival they will be available for free from Sticky. Each regular issue of Numbers is also free, and available from Take Care zine distro, Small Zine Volcano and the Sticky Institute. You can also subscribe to Numbers by filling in the form at numberszine.com.
