Craft Victoria, Klepner's Fine Antique Jewellery & Valuers and RMIT University, School of Arts, Gold & Silversmithing are pleased to present Rosie Gunzburg.
Gunzburg's work is a series of experiments examining how digital techniques can interrupt a traditional gold and silversmithing practice. This series of vessels titled ‘Reg Conglomerate’ investigates forces that create. The forms were designed digitally by animating fabric as it drapes, creases and folds. The pieces were then copper electroformed, examining the material agency of this process in determining new patterning and texture.
Rosie Gunzburg is the recipient of the Frank Klepner Memorial Award for 2017.
