Samantha Dennis is an emerging artist and self-taught potter from central north Tasmania. She graduated from a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts with first class Honours in 2014 and began throwing at the wheel in 2016. She now designs and produces a modest range of tableware for private businesses across Tasmania. She is the 2016 Artentwine Biennale ‘Small Sculpture Prize’ winner and has been exhibited locally and interstate. Sam will show new work at the Salamanca Arts Centre in 2019, and has been invited to feature in a curated exhibition at the upcoming Australian Ceramics Triennale in Hobart.
