Join us at the Collins Place Gallery Saturday 2 September to hear the artist Linda Hughes speak about her practice in the direct context of her current exhibition "Striped Inference". This is a free event.
Linda Hughes’ jewellery explores the different ways in which we use and decipher the stripe in everyday streetscapes. In this exhibition we see a deeper investigation into the political and societal settings of the stripe in Western painting. Hidden meanings and cultural mores move between playful, fashionable and symbols of alienation.
A feature exhibition for Craft Cubed 2017 and Radiant Pavilion.
