Arnhem Land Weaving and Living on Country Workshops

An opportunity to live with and learn from the people of Mäpuru in East Arnhem Land (NT) who are passing on their traditional skills to future generations. Weaving is used as a means of cultural exchange enabling participants to witness and learn the entire process from the collection of pandanas and natural dyes, to stripping and finally creating baskets.

Each visitor is welcomed with an open heart and mind and given a rare glimpse into the Indigenous world view.
