Cultural Threads: City of Greater Dandenong Textiles Celebration

Cultural Threads is an exciting celebration of art and textiles hosted by the City of Greater Dandenong during the month of August 2014. From knitting to crocheting, from dyeing to weaving, from needlepoint to urban fashion, you are invited to join in this month-long program of events and activities guided by some of Australia's most celebrated artists.

Introduction to Weaving with Ilka White (short course)

Crafty Classes at Laneway Learning

Laneway Learning is the name for a ragtag series of evening classes that first started in Melbourne in March 2012. Taught by ordinary people from the local community; florists teach about flowers, scientists about science and bookworms about books, perfect events for picking up top tips to take home and put into practice.
