Award winning jeweller Jeanette Dyke utilizes a wealth of skills that she learned during her 9 years of training, which included a Master of Arts degree from the prestigious Royal College of Art in London.
Technique and good design are key elements to Jeanette’s work. She strives to create pieces that are timeless and unique, whilst nearly always impossible to be copied by others.
During Jeanette’s many years of training, experimenting and experience, she came across a rarely taught technique of fusing precious metals together. Self taught in this technique, she now specialises in fusing in order to create unique and exquisitely detailed jewellery, often incorporating gemstones and pearls.
Jeanette moved from London to Melbourne in 1996 and in 2011 she established her studio and the Jewellery Making School at the artists colony of Montsalvat. This is where Jeanette continues to work and teach as a full-time jeweller today.
