Kathleen O'Neill is a contemporary jeweller and silversmith who has been working from a studio on her property since 2007. Using predominantly precious metals, she crafts jewellery, cherished objects and tableware. From soft, tactile, organic forms to clean, monochromatic, graphic lines. The work is created with an emphasis on traditional and environmentally conscious techniques. Her work expresses subtle influences of architecture, foundry trades and early pioneer household implements. Kathleen is currently working on a range inspired by, among other things, the enchanting Japanese animations of Studio Ghibli and the delicate art of origami.
