The desire to construct her own fabric led Morgan to the process of saori style weaving. This style of weaving, developed by the late Misao Jo, embodies a concept of not simply weaving cloth, but weaving your true self. Morgan incorporates recycled yarn, fabric and clothing into her pieces as a contribution to maximising resources. She applies her fabric to installations, wall pieces, soft furnishings and clothing. Her woven textiles, embroidery, drawing, photography and video are further explored in various formats including zines, artist books, limited edition prints and installation.
