Craft Cubed is a community based festival celebrating Melbourne’s vast creative talent. This year Gracie Keal and fellow makers; AKA, Rohana Holiday, Kelly Safarewicz, Nerea Li Santi, Petra Sleglova 'by Petra', Fizzy Pop Designs, Rosie did it, Lab Kajo, Full Tilt Nanna, Billington Pots, Carly Altree-Williams, Fabric Drawer and Claire Ritchie will be honouring the young, creating a contemporary online gallery space composed of artworks by 2-11 year olds. Collaborating with local schools and different community groups, the gallery will showcase talent across the spectrum and bring together the imaginations of our children to celebrate their innocence and wit in a month-long online exhibition. Intrinsic to this will be the work of our professional makers who will in turn be selecting a few of the most inspired works and reproducing them in their own medium. Working in silver, ceramics and textiles, these makers will convey their favourite pieces in products to sell, raising funds to support children of the Mirabel Foundation.
