This airy studio was purpose-built at the bottom of the garden across the rear of a suburban block about 500 metres from Sandringham beach. This is where handbuilt ceramic work is created, decorated, glazed and fired (in two electric kilns) Earthenware plates, platters, bowls, jugs and vases for the table, and small clay sculptures fill the shelves in this studio well lit with natural light in daytime - and a wood-burning stove warms in winter. The "garden gallery" is where a selection of current exhibition works are displayed. The "upstairs gallery" displays the potter's own special collection of pots large and small, including award-winning works - from many decades of making and exhibiting around Australia and abroad.
