Window Walk | Lisa Roet X Pieces of Eight Gallery
Borneo is home to one of the world’s greatest rainforest systems and the endangered Orang-utan. In her latest body of work, titled Transpiration, Lisa Roet investigates our relationship with this UNESCO protected ape and its endangered environment. Through jewellery and functional objects she utilises Orang-utan palm prints, skin texture and reflections of landscape to create her very own eco-system.
EVENT: On August 14, 6pm (for 6:15pm start), Roet will be 'in conversation' with Alice Blackwood to discuss the issues she tackles within her work.
This contemporary craft installation is hosted by:
