Window Walk | Tracy Muirhead X Dirty Dozen

Born in South Africa, Tracy now lives in the leafy, outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. She is passionate about clay, but tries to manipulate it as little as possible, allowing it to find its own expression. Hand building allows her to explore and experiment with endless possibilities when clay is stretched and torn, or squished and pierced. Many of her pieces are the result of this playful process of discovery.

In the vitrines of the Campbell Arcade’s Dirty Dozen, Tracy will present a landscape of pots in Black matt and Black shiny glazes.

This contemporary craft installation is hosted by Creative Spaces at the Dirty Dozen:

The Dirty Dozen in Campbell Arcade is one of Melbourne’s most intriguing exhibition spaces, located in an underground commuter walkway that runs from Flinders Street Station to Degraves Street.

Monday to Friday 7am - 7pm
Saturday 10am - 5pm

This event is part of Craft Cubed 2019 Window Walk Project, funded by the City of Melbourne
