2020 artists in residence program

The Australian Tapestry Workshop is now accepting applications for our 2020 artists in residence program.

This exciting program is open to artists worldwide, working in any medium, at all career stages. Previous residents include; musicians, dancers, ceramicists, painters, jewellers, fashion designers and photographers. The program provides dedicated time/space for creative work and promotes collaboration and cross-pollination of practices as well as a number of professional development outcomes.

The ATW also announces the City of Port Phillip 2020 artists in residence accommodation scholarship. Open to international, interstate and regional* Victorian artists, the scholarship supports the cost of accommodation when undertaking a residency at ATW. This scholarship will provide one artist in residence up to $3000 of accommodation to stay within the City of Port Phillip (covers approximately 3-4 weeks of a residency).

Applications close Monday 7 October, 5pm

*Regional Victoria regions include Hume, Grampians, Loddon Mallee, Grampians, Gippsland and Barwon South West.
